​​Each Friday morning at 8:45am, our school community gathers for an assembly. This gathering is an important part of the life of the school and parents are invited and welcome to attend.

​Prayer

Assemblies give us an opportunity each week to come together in prayer. Throughout the year, each class has an opportunity to lead the community in prayer.

‘Active Learner’ Awards

Each child is awarded two Active Learner awards throughout the year. These awards are much valued and are celebrated at our weekly assemblies.

‘Incline your heart’ Award

Each week one student is awarded the ‘Incline your heart award’. The recipient is a student who lives out our school motto by following the example of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop to:​

Act justly,

Love tenderly and 

Walk humbly with you, our God.​
