What an exciting week away! The students, Mrs Delaney and myself had a wonderful time in Canberra. The weather was very cold with the lowest temperature being -4. During our time in Canberra we consolidated so much of our learning.
The students managed to pass a law, learn all about earthquakes and tectonic plates. We gained an understanding of the Snowy Mountain Scheme and the importance of immigration to get this project completed.
During our time at the Australian War Memorial the students were privileged to attend the Last Post (closing ceremony). Overall, the students had a great time and were great ambassadors for Mary Immaculate.
