Mary Immaculate Primary School had an amazing time at our Book Week celebrations in Week 9. Our students (and staff) participated in multiple activities and dressed up as their favourite literary characters. Some of the activities from the day included:
- Craft in the Library
- Author visit from Samantha Wheeler
- Book Week Parade
We were blessed to have children's book author Samantha Wheeler join us. Samantha has written books including Devils in Danger, Once I Munched a Mango and more. Her interactive session had her discussing her books, what it's like to be an author and highlighting our Australian wildlife which our students enjoyed immensely.
